This book reproduces 27 of the wood engravings which she made during the five years that she and her husband lived in Vence, interspersed with drawings from her sketchbooks (plus a colour reproduction of one of her watercolours on the cover). The commentaries on 'Life in Venice' and 'Life at the Villa Adèle' are by her artist granddaughter, Emily Pryor, who lives in the South of France.

It comprises altogether 100 wood engravings and 10 sketches from her sketchbooks.
